Could be better

Over all the stand is built well but the clamp that screws in to hold the bongos in place is bad quality. The adhesive caused the rubber grip to fall off after 2 gigs..

Good value but a little clunky to use
HappyGilmore 07.07.2019
Can be a faf to set up and not very stable but for the price its a good product. Too high to set up if you are a sitting player - on a cajon for example.

Does the job
Anonymous 18.01.2015
Not a bad bongo stand. The brace is the best feature, if slightly awkward to take on and off. But it does hold the bongos fairly securely. The pad that pushes against the center of the bongos does break off a little easily, but the point that's left will still hold the drums in place, as long as you don't mind boring a small hole into the center.

Bongo stand.

Go budget and the quality reflects it. From taking these out of the box I was disappointed with the workmanship (badly drilled threads). The bar which braces the underside of the bongos was ill fitting and was soon lost as I found the bongos to be more stable without it. The chrome finish as long since tarnished and rusted in the damp cold Scottish climate. Little screws eventually loosened and were also lost meaning I've had to make repairs to keep it working secure. The base is firm though with its double braced legs and will hold strong and the felted plate which secures the bongos in place has endured and has at no point damaged the instrument. This all having been said, despite its short comings, I still use it.

Bit too wide for normal bongos
jamjumpin 19.03.2018
The stand itself is good quality and very useable for the price.
The problem I had with it is that the arm supports that sit under the drums are too wide and stick out way past the drums. Other than that it's much better than spending a fortune on the other brands.

Poor build quality, but does the job. I guess.

When unwrapping I immediately felt very unsure about the product. It looks and feels... very, very cheap. And it is :)

It didn't break yet though, I have it one week now and it still holds my bongo's in place.

But if I were you, I'd buy the just slightly more expensive Sonor, or maybe LP or Meinl.

Bottom construction part feels great, but the upper part really feels Chinese
