Great pad, great value
Peter - Jive Aces 18.03.2014
If you like a classic, Gladstone style, pad, then this is a perfectly decent one at about half the price that I could find anywhere else on the web.
I've used one of these pads for years and, in fact, only had to buy a new one because I lost it, but these things last forever! They're also a lot cleaner sounding than a lot of the other pads out there, which means that you can hear what you're playing very clearly. I keep mine on my snare drum for on kit use and bring it into the dressing room for pre-gig warm ups.

Stevige oefenpad

Precies goed. Kan er hard op meppen, en verschillende techniekjes op uitproberen, is gevoelig genoeg daarvoor. Is bijna geluidsloos.
Een logo of printje bovenaan zou super zijn, bijzaak.
Doet precies wat moet. Beter kan niet!

Millenium 14" Practice Pad

I use this on a snare with the rest of my kit to practice. I find it very useful that you can use it on a snare drum. The feel of the pad is okay, obviously its not going to compare to a real drum head. The only problem I face is it sometimes slides off my snare when playing which can be quite annoying. However it usually creates suction and sticks to my snare which i find a nice feauture. For the price of this product you can not moan. Very good quality and construction and does the job it needs to.

Not my thing!:(

Rubber feels more like plastic. Very stiff and bounces like on a concrette block. Smells awful ! I had similar pad Vic Firth for years. I can not even start to compare the Millenium pad, nothing in common! Very disapointed unfortunately. This is my firs touch to Millenium product and will not take a chance again for sure!

Not a bad idea

Not a bad idea to have a practice pad you can put directly on a drum, but, it's pretty flimsy and doesn't really have a benefit as either a sound silencer or as a practice pad.
It's not really sure what it wants to be and is so somehow kind of stuck in the middle.
I would recommend spending more on something a little better...

Generally is ok. After I've used it, it can be tricky to be removed from the snare. Perhaps because is very fixed in its position, it has an air sacked effect. But you can solve the problem by placing even a small jelly snare sound muffler, on the snare head near the rim, and remove the pad from where that muffler underneath the pad is.
The stick bounce is ok but not the best I've come across. Still worth to have it.

Does what it means to do: being hit with a stick doing no noise. 3 stars from a non-drummer, maybe real drummers have more precise needs!

THIS PRACTICE WAS FUNCTIONAL BUT WAS MADE OF PLASTIC RATHER THAN RUBBER AND THEREFORE DOES NOT HAVE A VERY GOOD SOUND OR FEEL COMPARED WITH MY OLD "LIMPET" MODEL.

Very useful practice pad
Nsag3 19.06.2013
I bought 2 of these pads a year ago, one to go on top of my snare and the other one to go in between my hi-hats to reduce practicing noise.
Great quality material, you could have it half way on top of the snare to reduce the volume but still get a good sound.
Overall great pads and excellent price.

My original one of these is now over forty years old-I think they called it the Limpet!
They are great for practice sessions and for warming up before a gig.
