Not a bad idea to have a practice pad you can put directly on a drum, but, it's pretty flimsy and doesn't really have a benefit as either a sound silencer or as a practice pad.
It's not really sure what it wants to be and is so somehow kind of stuck in the middle.
I would recommend spending more on something a little better...

Practice Pad

Generally is ok. After I've used it, it can be tricky to be removed from the snare. Perhaps because is very fixed in its position, it has an air sacked effect. But you can solve the problem by placing even a small jelly snare sound muffler, on the snare head near the rim, and remove the pad from where that muffler underneath the pad is.
The stick bounce is ok but not the best I've come across. Still worth to have it.

Does what it means to do: being hit with a stick doing no noise. 3 stars from a non-drummer, maybe real drummers have more precise needs!
