Though the item is described to be a 4U unit, the maximum number of 1U units this can hold is only 2. Though is is very sturdy, the rack is very badly designed.

It's absolutely not usable. It can be used only for very not deep equipment, like level meter etc. Forget hooking up anything deeper than 12cm.

so as people may have read there is a bar at the top that you chuck in the bin right away so you can fit a unit in the top. i get a second unit under that and that will be it for full size units . the rack is built like a tank though just wish they had got the angle and design right

Sturdy build but the design doesn't feel like it was thought out properly. The two bottom Us don't fit anything as they go down past the feet of the stand. The crossbar at the top is useless as it is placed right across the top rack's screw holes.

Sorry but this was a bad purchase on my part, very basic construction and doesn’t really have any use, not really possible to get a unit into it comfortably. Should have researched more and bought something more expensive.
