If you are new to djing/home party setups this is a great piece of kit. This was the second every crossbar stand that I bought and it really does have the quality as one you would pay a couple of hundred for. I bought last minute for a charity event in the local football club due to my old crossbar stand breaking. Thomann are super fast at delivery. I ordered 3 days before event and it arrived the morning of event. I was nervous it would be bad quality but when I opened the box I was amazed. It was so well packaged and a very good weight it was pure metal.apart for a few clips It can be a bit complicated to assemble for the first time. I'd recommend an other person to help.it really is a two man job. I didn't have that second person so it did take that little bit longer. But once I finally got the up. It looks great, it has a telescopic mechanism and can be set at a low height or a fairly high height but for safety I would recommend a safe height. I connected a few lights and away I went. I still have it to this day and I recommend this to every mobile dj

Its a truss and it works well
Adiebeats 17.06.2020
Used it to hang a heavy fabric backdrop. Works very well. Good quality for what I use it for. Some reviews said the quality isn't good. I disagree. Maybe to hang heavy stage lights you might want to buy a better product but for backdrops, dj lights etc its perfect. This thing is huge when you have it set up full length so be prepared.

Excellent
David5201 07.06.2015
This is an excellent piece of hardware, even more so considering the price. As usual from Thomann's own brand equipment this is built with superb quality and offers excellent value for money.
This stand is reasonably easy to assemble, and I have assembled it several times on my own however it is far easier with the help of someone else. My only complaint would be the plastic connectors are quite stiff at first making it difficult to put the metal tubes inside them, however after being put up and taken down a few times now mine seem to be loosening off making it easier to put up.
The durability seems to be good and I expect to be using this for a good while to come!

Great stands for studio curtains
MonikaK 13.06.2014
I used these Millenium lighting stands for holding the Stairville stage curtains and they work perfectly together. The stands are very easy to assemble and not very heavy.
The only down side of the stands is that in order to raise the height of the stands you have to widen the legs of the stands so they become quite impractical when you are tight with space and want the stands to be 3 metres.
Overall they are sturdy and fold together very well in order to move the stands around. For the price you get great stands which last for a long time and you can really use them anywhere from fixing lights on them or using the stands for studio/stage curtains.

Mostly impressed but with a little disappointment.
HRL 17.07.2013
We're very impressed with the quality of this stand. It's fantastic value for money!! It's very sturdy and easy to transport. We've plenty of room on it for the lights and our own backdrop and it makes our band look very professional.
Our disappointments with it are:
1) We can't shorten it. We can lengthen it with the extensions provided but can't shorten it's width. So it's great when playing gigs in venue's with their own stage, but trying to make it fit into a venue that doesn't have a stage can be a lot of work.
2) Also we found that our clamps (for the lights) were getting it difficult to grip the round bars.

Muito robusto
franciscogsp 14.07.2023
Pensava que a dimensão era menor e tinha um aspeto mais amador, e até tem uma boa presença. Assumi que passaria bem sem sacos de arrumações, mas penso que em breve vou acabar por encomendar alguns sacos para este material.

Great Value
DJPJ 27.02.2015
This is great value for your buck. You can easily extend this to 4.5m with and extra extension piece and I find that the 3m is a bit short. We put our lights and banner on this and it works to great effect. This takes a bit of getting used to when assembling it but once you do it once or twice you get the hang of it. There doesn't appear to be Thomann cases for this stand which is a wonder but I am in the middle of looking at some carry bags that may do it. Overall a strong sturdy bit of kit ideal for a lighting system for a band. The hex nuts are not ideal either but you can get them replaced by thumb screws easily

Great value

This is a great stand at a great price. Best bought as the 'kit' but needed the extension so bought the molton separately. Slightly fiddly to set up for the first time as all the clips need to be fitted to the back-cloth and gantry and the brackets have to be fitted to the extensions but once that is done it's simple to use live. Great piece of kit.
