Excellent as a tone pot, tight fit!
Newbie Guitar Player 09.06.2022
I bought this as part of a pickup swap / rewiring job on my Squier Mustang HH. I installed it as a tone pot and wired the push-pull switch for splitting the bridge humbucker (neck position is a P90). The PCB makes it really easy to wire the P/P. There was also some space between the PCB and the pot itself to tuck in my capacitor and retain the original profile. Do beware that it is a full-sized pot and quite bulky, more so because of the P/P. Be careful and measure your guitar cavity before buying. The Mustang control cavity was a realy tight fit and I had to modify the part a bit by bending the two prongs at the top. I also routed the cables around the pot as there was no space behind/underneath it. The control plate on the Mustang is relatively thin sheet metal and the pot sticks up a bit above the surface, but that doesn't really bother me. Luckily I had no issues with the thread diameter and it dropped right into the control plate opening - no wobble, no need to enlarge the opening. For the knob I used a metal screwable one that has a smooth inside surface and is made for 6mm shaft. If you want to get a knurled knob or re-use your old knob, check your measurements and make sure it has the correct number of splines for the US standard.

Overall I am really satisfied with my purchase, even though I had some minor issues with the fitment. The pot functions well and I am happy with the tone responce I get from the vintage taper in conjunction with a 47nF capacitor. It rotates smoothly and doesn't scratch. Push-pull works as expected. As with any guitar mod, my advice is to measure carefully and be prepared to adjust some things if necessary.

Big, easy to solder, but could not fit if you have small guitar cavity, so check it before you buy it

This cts pots are in good quality, I like them. But they are very big. You need to know is your guitar cavity big enough for cts pots if you want to buy this product.

High quality, works very well.
It's a bit big so you have to measure your chamber to be sure it will fit in there...
