Mono Guitar Sleeve Review
Grant N. 14.04.2015
I bought this as a kind of runabout gig bag, I wanted something that I could take to school everyday, but be small and lightweight enough to easily get on buses and the underground etc. It's really well designed, it has all the features of the larger Mono cases (headlock, thick bottom section, waterproof nylon) so my guitar's always really well protected. The only drawback I can think of is there's not much room for any accessories or any extra bits and pieces you might need. It can easily hold a couple of leads plus plectrums and things, but the more you put in the pocket the more crowded it all seems to be. Also the pocket doesn't open out, it's just a zip opening, so you can find yourself fumbling about trying to find things by feel. I usually have charts as well as a couple of small tuners, on top of the leads and everything else, and sometimes I need to take things out that I don't need, just to find what I'm looking for. I would say honestly it's really great at what it does, which is transport and protect your guitar. If you're talking about playing gigs or going to any other professional engagements where you'll need all your accessories, my advice would be to go for one of the larger ones they sell. It will give you more carrying options, and will just make your life easier.

PV
Not as expected!
Pieter Vermeulen 09.09.2022
Worst designed gigbag ever. It should be called the Squeeze instead of the Sleeve. There is almost no room inside for a guitar, especially the neck. Strings are pushed to the frets which is not good. The zipper is put on tension. There's no compartment on the top of the bag for small stuf and the big compartment (where it's hard to find small stuff) has a big useless piece of fabric that has to be removed to get to the side zipper to open it. Don't know who designed this. I'm disappointed to say the least. had some bags from ToneToys that were cheap and perfectly designed. They held up for over 17 years but are not made anymore. Hope I can sell them or send them back. Don't know why people like this bag. Buit quality is nice but design is bad. Have another one for acoustic that's perfect so I don't understand this.

LZ
It's a Mono, plain and simple
Leon Z. 03.04.2019
Excellent quality all round - the materials, the build, the fit and extra space. It's a well thought-out and executed product. Withstands tons of gigging, touring, long trips and walks. Very light, but tons of protection for your instrument. I've used it mostly with Fenders (Tele, Strat, Jaguar, Jazzmaster), but I've had no qualms about using it with PRS (Custom 24, Santana) or Gibsons. Keep in mind - it's not a hardcase, so don't push it and stack amps on top of it. Keep it on top when you're loading gear and you're good to go.

This Guitar Sleeve is a Must-Have!
Anonymous 11.02.2016
I play with bands as a guitarist, so I have to take my guitar with me almost EVERYWHERE. That was the hardest thing ever with the hard case that came with my guitar, which I got from Thomann aswell! So far, it has been the best sleev-case I've ever used, for many reasons, which I will list below, as pros and cons.
Pros
1. The padding inside is so amazing, I could sleep in the case. I once dropped my guitar while it was in the sleeve and it I it was like landing on a bed. Also, in the bottom of the sleeve there is padding aswell.

2. There are handles wherever you'll ever need one. And the quality is excellent (on the whole thing)

3. There are straps, so there is no problem riding a bicycle with your guitar on.

4. You can put your keyring on!

5. Quality is amazing!

Cons
1. Even though it works most of the time, the metalic thing that closes the books case might get stuck on the belt.

2. Inside the case there is a small pocket, which is too small for what I use it.

Overall, I give it 10/10!

I
Mono Cases = Great Value
Irumaru 28.03.2023
I’ve had two of these over the years and they have outlasted EVERY other case I’ve ever head. The quality of materials are top-notch, super durable, comfy straps. I was carrying my Ibanez headless bass in this (yes it fits and it is super compact!) The instrument feels super secure, the inner lining is super soft and luxorious. It does cost more than the average case but it certainly worth the investment.

- One con I might say is that I found the flappy cover with buckle quite useless, it seems to provide more of an aesthetic benefit than anything else. If you want to put some extra stuff in the zipper compartment (such as a pedal, few cables, perhaps an ipad or a little bluetooth speaker) then you might find that the flappy part is hard to close over the fully stuffed compartment as it struggles to overlap it and to give enough clearance for the buckle/hook to be closed over it. Beyond that minor gripe it is really a great and lightweight instrument bag.

I
Best gig bag on the market
InfectedSyren 04.12.2018
I'm extremely happy with my Mono case. I wanted something to keep my guitar safe and got really fed up carrying my hard case due to the weight of it. This is a really light case and the padding will keep your guitar safe. I would not recommend you fly and check in your instrument with this case. Highly recommended for guitarists who want a high quality gig bag. There is also a lifetime warranty!

Best case I've ever used
Alecksyy 05.12.2018
One of the best purchases I have ever made. The bag is very solid and has very good quality feel to it. I travel a lot with my guitar on public transport and whenever the case gets a knock, I'm very confidant that my guitar is not damaged.

The only problem I find with the case is that the fabric can be a bit slippy towards the headstock if you try to grab the case there.

Do your guitar a favor
countzeroalex 12.11.2018
I've had this case for 4 years now and it's traveled a lot. Still looks brand new and feels as sturdy as ever.

Pros
Supporting neck suspension gives peace of mind to Les Paul style guitar owners.
Excellent protection from all sides
Slim and pretty.

Cons
The only thing that's slightly inconvenient is the way the zip storage cover is buckled. Not that easy to open with one hand in situations were time is of the essence.

expensive but worth it
dmjg 03.02.2018
definitely the best bag I've ever had for a guitar. I'll go for an even more expensive Mono bag next time due to how impressed I was with this one

Had my backup guitar in this during a tour around europe. The guitar survived without any problems. Even though it looks like a gigbag it feels almost like a hardcase.
