I was very happy with this strap. Used it exclusively on a CS Nocaster for over a year. Yesterday when picking it up I noticed the strap had come off. I don't use strap locks but this had never happened before. Upon reattaching I noticed that he hole had torn almost up to the edge of the material. In other words, had I not seen it then, my guitar would have crashed head first to the ground. Quite the opposite of what I expected from Mono. I have a Vertigo case as well and that is absolutely bulletproof. Seeing most reviews are so good, and only one other person is complaining about the exact same thing, I hope this is a manufacturing fault. I've requested a repair/exchange and will update this review with my findings...

I have received a replacement and so far so good. Updated quality to 4 stars again.
