The best bassbag.
JMoo 29.12.2017
I have been using this bass bag for some time now. I like it so much I actually bought a second one. I use this bag whenever I'm on the road. (I am sure my bass is in a safer place when I'm using the bag compared to using a hardcase.)

The bag not only looks like it can take an impact, it actually can. Also, there is a necklock system in the bag that protects your neck from impact. I honestly think Mono Cases are their own competitor since I don't really see these gig bags need a replacement any time soon. (they feel like they will last a lifetime) However if they ever need to be replaced I will get a new Vertigo without a doubt.

I can only think of one possible con that might bother some players out there. (It doesn't bother me) You don't have a lot of storage room. If you try hard you'll manage to get a laptop and maby a small interface with your cables in there but that is the absolute limit.

Long story short. Best and possibly the last gig bag that I have owned.

You get what you pay for...

...and that's of course true in this CASE. ;)

Have had this case for a few years and I feel comfortable that it protects my bass, whether on the train or in the car with other instruments and gear. Bottom of it is kinda like a car or bike tire and gives a good protection agains the ground. The case is sturdy and stiffer than a normal gigbag, so kind of a blend between a hardcase and a gigbag. If you travel alot and can afford it, i recommend it!

Great lightweight bag
bass_jam 30.08.2018
I have a a fair amount of gig bags and cases and this one is my go to bag for commute with public transport when I don't need to bring many accessories. It is very lightweight, good quality protection and sits well and comfortable on my back. The padded handle is great and the overall quality of the bag is very high.

The downside is that it is very dear and the storage space isn't anywhere near as large as lets say in a much cheaper Gator ProGo bag. I don't have the tick accessory bag but have used a standard pedaltrain Nano bag with it. That said my focus is on travelling light these days and thats where the bag excels. I carry my 4 and 5 string basses of different shapes with no problem with it. If you play a 6 string basses you might want to try first before buying, it might be too tight a fit.

The best gig bag I've had!
Anonymous 27.07.2014
Overall ths is a very nice gig bag. Extremely sturdy and surprisingly light, this thing makes having a hard case seem quite pointless (except maybe for flying), which is exactly what I was hoping for.

I went for the vertigo instead of the "normal" case mostly because the top loading feature seemed interesting and the front pocket looked like it could fit a bit more stuff, like a binder full of notes (a big binder proved to be just slightly too much if you want to be able to fully close the zipper). The top loading feature is nice, I had slight problems sliding my bass in with a huge leather strap but a smaller neoprene strap slips in quite nicely. Only time will tell if the inside is going to wear out from the bridge, switches and other sharp parts being slid in and out but so far so good. The rubber bottom is awesome, keeps the bass from sliding when stored upright on more slippery surfaces and seems like it will take quite a bit of beating from asphalt, gravel and other rough surfaces.

The biggest issue I have with this case is probably storage space. Now the front pocket couldn't get much wider than what it is, but because it's solid on the right side with the zipper going only to the left, it doesn't open up that much. This makes it harder to reach the bottom of the pocket or scan through a bunch of notes to find the ones you need that night. Also there is no top pocket or any other suitable little pocket for storing pencils, earplugs, allen keys and other tiny gadgets I tend to carry around with my bass. This for me means I'll probably need to buy the little accessory bag (M80-TK) that attaches to the middle part of the case, just so I can get a little more storage space and make things that much easier.

Best Gig Bag Ever
mrwildguitar 10.08.2019
I'm using it with a Fender Precision Bass.
The bass fits perfect inside, the inside is perfect, very protective especially the bottom with the very strong rubber.
Very nice material in the outside, it protects from rain and still looks cool.
It's not heavy but the size is bigger than your average gig bag.
It lacks a bit of storage space for one or two pedals.
Because it's bigger it's not very comfortable to walk with, it slightly hits the back of your legs while walking.
Nevertheless I would buy it again and this is probably the very best gigbag available.

Very happy with this case.
Very solid and protective.
Plenty of extra pockets and room for leads, strings etc.
Happy to put a very "precious" bass inside ; )

Alembi Series Bass Owners Rejoice!
Brooksy\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Bass Corner 03.08.2022
This is one of the only gigbags that will accommodate an Alembic Series/Long Scale/Large Body + Point bass guitar. The dimensions and body width have always been an issue but this gigbag does the job and offers plenty of cushioning and protection. At last!

High Quality Bag

I always liked the Mono Cases products and this blew my mind. Great quality and feels sturdy. I wouldn't check it in an airplane though but it's great for getting to a gig.
I bought this with The Tick 2.0 and it's a nice combination.
I'm definitely getting one for my guitar as well!

Very high quality gig bag with really cool pedalboard attachable loops.
Pocket in the front is slightly smaller than the Mono Bass Sleeve.
