The pedal by all means is a good pedal. 3 different functions, studio, cathedral and plate.
I was looking for a reverb with big decay, something to make prog music with. I wanted to sound like the smiths or other 80s guitar sounds.
This pedal delivered but only just. It has a mix knob that can blur the original sound and put too much of the wet signal in.
Ideally it would have a wet and dry signal knobs.
Stuido reverb is kind of subtle, nothing to wrote home about, could be good if you want very subtle reverb for color.
Cathedral is good if you want nice big reverb. Nostalgic sounding. It can get really big and the decay can go on for a good amount of time.
The plate reverb can be subtle or really drippy and wet. I'd say it's actaully as good as the cathedral setting.
We all know what we want from a reverb and that's either subtlety or massive wetness.
This pedal does both, but I am annoyed by the mix knob, it let's the pedal down a bit.
Apart from that criticism it's my main reverb for now. It's good enough for the price. You won't be sorely dissapointed like you would be with some other reverb pedals.
It's a safe bet, but just be aware about the mix knob.
Did I mention the mix knob? lol.
