Solid chassis with garbage pedal

Wanted to use this as an expression pedal hooked up to various MIDI controllers. The instant dealbreaker is it's impossible to get a smooth sweep out of this. If you cover the full range of 0-127 you end up with the first 60-70% of the sweep doing nothing and then then last 30-40% ramping up quickly making it pretty much more of a footswitch than an expression pedal. If you tweak the only dial to change the range of values you can get a smooth ramp from released to fully pressed but the range of values is from around 100-127. The chassis is well built but other than for that it's total garbage not at all worthy of the Moog name.
