I bought the Mother-32 about a year ago.
Bottom line, I do not think there is anything behind the statement "The Moog sound" related to the Mother-32.
In the same order I also received the Behringer NEUTRON, which costs 1/2 the price of the Mother-32.
In my opinion its sound quality, and its quality as a musical instrument is worth twice (x2) as much as the Mother-32.
