Absolutely great pedal, bought this for a friend and it sounds amazing, he's been using it for a massive variety of own material and covers, give a great Van Halen tone for a very reasonable price, very tough and durable and has had no problems so far, the bright orange look make it noticeable on stage as well regardless of lighting, it doesn't glow in the dark but its easily seen, the switch is very easy to hit in a rush so no need to worry about it even if it does look small compared to the likes of boss pedals and similar, great pedal and works wonders, adding a great effect to my friends arsenal of pedals

Great pedal. It nails the phaser tones from the 70s until today.

Naturally, it's a one knob pedal, so it is not very versatile if you want to shape your own sound. That being said, what you see is what you get with this pedal. If the Phase90 is a sound you like, it will not disappoint. The range goes from very slow (nice for a rhytm tone, or to add some mojo to your base sound) to very fast (takes over the sound, great if you're feeling experimental)

Other than that, this pedal is built like a tank and is still doing well

Well built pedal, but not quite versatile.

I tried exploring the phaser zone with this pedal, but it just wasn't for me. I couldn't make it fit with my general sound inside my setup. I know that there are people who absolutely love this pedal, so I do not want to say it is a crap pedal. Not at all. It just didn't fit for me.

I encourage everyone to try it, explore the sound and maybe for you it would be the thing. Who knows? I mean, in the end it's an MXR, so the build quality and control are very ok. Have fun with this one!

I love this pedal due to its classic simplicity - the sound takes you back to vintage Page, May and Van Halen. Robust and simple to operate it has classic warm analogue sounds. With some warm tube overdrive it is magnificent - Don't know how I lived without it for so long !

We cover some punk classics in our set.. well... depending on how long we have.. always like to throw one in...

The deadboys sonic reducer being one such number... this pedal is the classic you need.

I prefer to front load it rather than place it in the effects loop...

I had been tempted to go with newer phasers that have more sculpting options but.. this does exactly what I want and expect and I don't need the headache of adjust test adjust test craic... I prefer to just play...

Classic pedal for a reason!

A favourite of many of the greats, from Gilmour to Van Halen, the MXR Phase 90 is as legendary as many of the great players who've utilized it's unique sound. Having purchased this pedal I now realise why: it's an amazing sound, works well with other pedals and is tweakable and versatile, so there are many different unique sounds to be found in this pedal. It's now a staple on my pedalboard and is almost always on. I Could not recommend the Phase 90 enough, a highly valuable addition to any players board at a very reasonable price.

The MXR Phase 90 is renowned worldwide for it's excellent phaser capabilities and it's gift on fatness and new tonal possibilities for lead and rhythm tones. Straight out of the box you get what is possible the easiest pedal to use. One knob for speed allows precise control of the phaser sound.

This pedal can be used in a subtle manner or with high intensity, both sound great. I have used this pedal with many pedals such as OD's, delays, reverbs and other modulation pedals and it sits so well with all of them! The quality of the MXR pedal range is truly represented through this pedal!

The pedal is encased in a rock solid body and I would be comfortable using this on my main board that use for playing live. Great pedal, great price and unbeatable Thomann service!

Een typisch effect. Heel simpel, enkel rate knop. Het geluid is mooi vergeleken met andere phaser pedalen. De modulatie is tamelijk aanwezig maar de vorm van de golven is complex en niet gewoon wahwahwah. Dit phaser-effect heeft wel weinig frequentie sweep over de golven heen zoals de small stone, of PH3 heb ik ontdekt. Het is ene specifiek phaser effect. In zijn genre waarschijnlijk de beste pedaal voor een goede prijs.
