Ich bin neu in Sachen "Gitarre am Rechner" und es fehlt mir an Vergleichen. Mit Scarlett2i2 und auch mit Presonus Studio One 6 Artist habe ich Guitar Rig 7 Pro zügig verknüpft und mich seit ein paar Wochen in Sounds gewälzt :-D - endlich keine brummenden Stolpertretminen mehr! Ich komme als langjähriger "Direkt in den Amp" Spieler prima damit zurecht. Ok - schneller neuer PC ist, da, wie es auf Altgeräten läuft, kann ich nicht beurteilen.
Die Sound-PResets sind schon mächtig, man kann aber auch mit Amps und zB. einem zugestöpselten Delay schnell eigene schaffen und speichern, oder die presets verändern und als eigene abspeichern.
Ich hab jetzt - nach etlichen freundigen Stunden rumprobieren (Gefahr! :-) eine Handvoll Sounds von Jazz, Rock bis Metal, und ein paar kommen Gilmour- oder Knopfler -Sultans mäßig daher (nein, ich spiele nicht ganz so gut...).
Rig 7 lässt sich auch easy direkt über Studio One laden und als Tonspur ablegen - was sicher auch in anderen Tools funktioniert. Mir reicht das dicke, die Kombinationen von Effektwegen werden übersichtlich rechts angezeigt und lassen sich hin und herschieben. Eine Erklärbox erläutert sogar noch, was die Tools so treiben...
Ich kann die Software wärmstens empfehlen - viel falschmachen kann man da eigentlich nicht.
