Yes it is. I have a lot of Neumann mic and I purchased another one for djing and for some miking in the studio. It has a very aseptic sounding with very low clarity e deep bass (voice speech and cab amp also)... But the very frustrating thing is that it don't have any tilt regulation at all. The external clamp is rubber fixed with the mic and don't tilt in any way. Neumann says that it's a studio mic also, but you can't use it in studio easily because of it's no regulation at all. For dj specking I've bought a Rode PSA but same problem, you must use the mic only in one inclination. Neumann quality of materials and very nice looking shape but not so comfortable in use it.

I was using it to record snare bottom, toms , snare top, guitar amplifier. The result is great. Only problem is the unflexible suspension, it is hard to configure the mic some cases.
But the sound is great, maybe the snare bottom recording is my very best ever.
