Very helpful little things
Dym 24.04.2018
The format of my studio is so called 'one man, one room'. The first time I thought about dummy plugs and dust covers when quantity of equipment in there exceeded a dozen. Cleaning the equipment had became a big problem. The dummy plugs from Neutrik have been a great solution. NDD for DIN- (MIDI), NDP for RCA-, NDJ for Jack-connectors are totally protect them. Made from quality and pleasant to the touch rubber the dummy plugs have a comfortable heads to put in and extract. However these heads may be a problem. For some devices the connectors itself are standing out from the bodies, plus sized heads of dummy plugs. These protruding parts could be a hindrance for working, carrying and packing in cases. In any way I find these dummy plugs very helpful and use them anywhere.

Protect the jacks of your beloved gear!
🎵🎵🎵 24.11.2018
If you're like me and take care of your gear, this along with other Neutrik dummy plugs are just what you need. Plug these into your quarter inch jacks and keep your signal in pristine condition. Good for your hardware's longevity and for the resaleability of your gear. A coin now may help you sell your gear for more at a later date. Worth it.

The handle is a good design

The surface is a bit flawed, the workmanship is worse than NDM, but it is still easy to plug and unplug on RME ADI-2 DAC FS.

Simple but super effective
Liukke 10.06.2022
I own a Millenium SD-180 studio desk, the rack mounted devices are tilted, around 50°, meaning that dust can easily get into any open connector.
This very dumb little gummy thing just saved me lots of hassle or worries about my unused jack sockets to become dirty.

Super super suggested, it's also rather small and doesn't stick out that much (from the images I thought they were quite cumbersome).

Seems a little silly to be reviewing this but if you have a specific need to block a specific socket then THIS is the product for you.

NO
Excellent product to keep the dust out.
Niall O. 25.01.2016
I have bought a lot of these dummy plugs over the years, usually adding a few to each order from Thomann. I mainly use them on my more expensive equipment and anywhere I have unused jack socks that are exposed to dust. In particular I plug the sockets on my Yamaha 01V mixing desk as these are extremely exposed in my studio.
Not the most 'fun' purchase but one I consider indispensable to protect kit.
The only downside is that they are not offered as a bulk purchase with a discount :-)

Great for blocking plugs
Erfa 02.06.2021
Just using a few of these to block off outputs that I don't want to accidentally plug into. Simple and cheap way to get it done, and looks great!
