Really very good, but be aware what you're buying

This is a super instrument. It feels good, responds well and has a good tone - FOR WHAT IT IS.

It's a good idea to remind yourself you're not buying an acoustic 'cello. Once you've recorded this DI, you'll need to do a fair bit of work on EQ and ambience to make it sound natural. I haven't as yet tried playing it through an amp and mic into the desk; that might give it a different life.

But if you're after an electric 'cello, and are fine trying to play around to get a good tone - this is really brilliant.
