Modern keyboard amps are not only powerful, they can also sound really good. In addition, they often also make travelling keyboard players' lives easier thanks to their abundant features, since some of them can replace the mixing desk, effects devices or even small-scale PA system you would normally take along. As the various amps available still differ in their features, we advise you to consider which features you actually need and which you can do without before buying one. The amp's output is also worth keeping in mind: if your amp cannot assert itself over the raucous noise of festival-goers or can only do so at the cost of distorting the sound, you've probably made the wrong choice. On the other hand, an amp more powerful than you actually require is easy to subdue to rehearsal studio output at the touch of a single control. On yet another hand (that's three now :-), it's not a lot of fun lugging around a 350W monster if you only ever play small venues.
By the way: we are more than happy to help you in your decision, either on the phone when you call our hotline or in our store in Treppendorf, where you can try out the many amps available - actually, you should try them out, because that's the best way to know what they sound like, and the sound is normally what swings the decision.
