Ortega OCJP-GB Cajon Pedal

This cajon pedal is a really nice discovery for me: I would have never thought I could use a pedal with the back of my foot! Instead it works very good and after a little practice I got used of that with no difficulties. The only thing I don't like is the fact that's not very stable at the floor due to the central iron bar that put the cajon in balance and you perceive the little movement to the right or to the left while playng. In the end, the fact that there's no wire, give me more assurance that it will last longer than a wired pedal.

This pedal is very compact and comes with everything you need to attach it to a Cajon. It also comes with a nice bag. It's built really well

My only gripe with it is that it is more suited for people who kick with their heel. I'm more comfortable kicking with the ball of my foot as it's naturally how I use a kick pedal on my drum kit, and also closer to tapping, which I do a lot of whiles playing guitar.

If you prefer or don't mind kicking with your heel, you won't find a better pedal for the price!
