Buy cheap, buy twice! This may work for some, but for me it was way to long, and the way that the hook fits into the sound hole means that the Uke is not steady (I should have thought about that but hey...) and wants to tilt the Uke upwards quite severely, so that it falls almost horizontal. Might be alright if you're just strumming some simple chords, but to play properly you need the instrument to be supported (that's the point of a strap after all) to give both left and right hands freedom of movement, and I find that it is impossible to play without using my right forearm to steady the Uke, meaning I am unable to play finger style. I will now invest in a normal strap fitted to the tail and neck, as one would use on a full sized acoustic.
