Why choose this pedal?
Charleazen 09.08.2019
As a drummer who have tried lots of pedals, and a previous owner of the regular Eliminator and Demon Drive. The Eliminator Redline is the best of the both that I have previously owned. As customizable as the regular eliminator but definitely smoother and lighter, and as fast as the Demon Drive (or might be less because it's not a direct drive). The Redline beaters has a better and more practical design than it's predecessor and DD's, I love the sound and feel of the linear (horizontal) plastic side on the bass drum. The default settings is amazing and you can unleash it's full potential that suits you if you know the feel that you're looking for.

Pros:
Beautiful design. Heavy duty, very smooth, very quiet and very precise. Almost as precise as a direct driven pedal. Not much of a price difference from it's predecessor. Can rival high-end chain-driven pedals. It comes with a carry case!

Cons:
Just a personal preference. I'm not a fan of the rubber grips on the foot board but I'm glad it's removable. If it's too much to ask, I hope it also came with the yellow and the purple cam. Other than that.. There's none.

If the time comes that I need to replace this and I don't think I will. I'd definitely get this exact same pedal unless they come up with an upgraded design of the Eliminator Redline.

B
Perfect for the price

Biggest advantage is that you can adjust and tune absolutely everything - seems this is some kind of ergonomic stand. For that cost it's perfect. I changed to Eliminator from previous TAMA Iron Cobra 200 single pedal which is also not bad but Pearl is obviously more solid, more comfortable. I also tried to play TAMA Iron Cobra 900 in showroom and it looks like feelings is quite the same, maybe 5% better - but TAMA's 900 is more expensive and doesn't have so many adjustments from the box. So I can advice Pearl Eliminator as best option choosing double drum pedal. I also like Pearl P-1032 Black, it's cool but has no changing cams, has 2-side beaters instead of 4-side on 2052 and has no such cool bag.

the legendary eliminator is still alive

i am a huge fan and owner of pearl eliminator pedals for years. i decided to go and try the so called new and improved version of it. i was blown away instantly. it was as smooth as the previous one and even faster. the changes they made look minor but it makes a huge difference. I never thought i would play a better pedal than the previous version of eliminator but the new one left me speechless.

Great buy

A very nice pedal - extremely smooth, a lot more set up options than you probably need (at least a lot mote than I need), nice hefty beaters, a bag, everything. Unless you absolutely need a longboard or direct drive (in which case you probably dont't make buying choices based on internet comments and are probably too busy doing 600 bpm 16-notes), I can' t see what more would you require from a pedal.
