I'm using it to extend the integrated power cable of my combo, so i can use his 2x12'' speaker with other amps/pre/multiFX unit.
Works perfect and since is pretty big/thick, is pretty safe for joining power cables.

Not many options become many with this in your gig kit.
Feels so much more sturdy than the cheap options, no locking on this connector but an excellent fit means it's not necessary unless you are jumping round the stage.
