It won't work for the top string in some guitar necks.

The quality is very good.
I did not like the screw clamp method.
If I decide to buy a new one, it is gonna be one with spring(s) This is just my personal opinion.

I don't like it
simplyred 13.04.2018
It is small and compact so you can carry it with you easily but the problem is that it does not tighten sufficiently. If you're looking for something small it's ok but on the acustic guitar I was'n able to tighten up better. I now ordered the Shubb C1, I think it's more versatile even if it's bigger.
Pros
- small
- easy to install
Cons
- not very effective (on acoustic guitar)
- insufficient pressure in many cases

Cheaply made item

A disappointingly flimsy capo, doesn’t hold enough tension on smaller necked instruments. My advice is go the little bit extra for a better built capo

Unfortunately the screw broke after a few times being used.
D’Addario sent me a new one. Great customer service.

Not the best of tools.
Rurouni 31.07.2016
Got one because I heard regular capos put extra tension to your string and fret causing the later to wear out faster.
This thing can apply just the right tension on your acoustic but unfortunately I have to try it on a couple of times until its properly placed.
Maybe its the radius, not sure but its annoying me
Its light and well made but then again you cant carry it around in your head stock because its too big.
Right now I cant say Im fully please by the PW, my cheap old capo serves me better.

Not quite good enough
John567 25.02.2015
Been using this capo for a few weeks now and I'm totally happy with it.
It doesn't quite hold the strings down hard enough at the thinner end of the neck, higher up the neck is fine.
The capo is light and feels well put together, it is easy to use and compact but I would recommend it if you have a thin necked guitar.
