Gets the job done
HeartLander 14.11.2018
Lightweight, useful and easy to operate. Grips the strings firmly. I prefer to use it by placing the clamp with the thumbwheel from the high E string upwards, as it clamps the thinner strings easier. Nice little accessory, but again it's a capo, it does that it is supposed to do.

No one-handed use

This capo does its job well, it's also nice/stealthy looking and will not damage the instrument, which is also very important.

The only downside is that you can't put it on with one hand, at least not very easily.
It's not like you can just clip it on like the description makes you think, you still have to open the screw, put it on and then screw it back like any other capo.

This capo it seems not good but do not judge before you try it.

I was looking for a capo that does not make my guitar untune. This one is a good capo it does its work. The finish could be better but still is pretty good for the price and it met my need. I would love to see how would be this capo with other materials.

I used to have the metal one, less robust. anyway this one is also very nice, only bigger. the plastic looks not as pro as the metal. For the low price I am satisfied.

The Planet Waves PW-CP-07 capo
Anonymous 08.11.2014
Got my hands on this from a deal wich included guitar strings, so basically, it just fell into my hands. I nice bonus I would say.

The bulid quality is good. Haven't tried a lot of Planet Waves products (all in all only guitar picks and this), but there haven't been problems with their stuff earlier and this is no exception.

The surface wich connects with the guitar is covered with rubber, so it doestn't slip, like, at all. If you set it on the fret, it will stay there untill you wind the bolt open, and take it off. And I can't decide if it's good or bad. Yeah, it doesn't slip, so the tone will sustain and the sound quality will be perfect, but if you want to get it off, or change frets while playing, it will cause a headache, because you have to unwind the bolt for like 720 degrees, which will take a second or two.

All in all, a good choice for playing home or in a studio, but I would consider a different option for live gigs.

Worth the money!

Very good capo! Mostly used on my acoustic six string as that is generally the only guitar I use a capo with and while I don't use one much on that either I like to know I've a good quality tool. The capo is simple to use and the only real issue I have ever had is that on my twelve string it does need to be shuffled around a bit to press down the strings fully but it was most likely and understandably designed for standard six string use. If you are just a casual user of a capo like myself than I'd highly recommend this capo as it will fulfill all those needs.

Useful Capo
Howard 27.01.2018
This works well if you want to fret across the whole fingerboard, not so well if you want to fret 5 strings and leave the E open. Not as good as a Shubb, but a lot cheaper so very good value for money. Recommended

Excellent kapo

Good fit and conform on differing fretboard radii. Lightweight. Good tuning balance with the thumbscrew. Only downside, it won't fit thin necks, especially between 1-3rd frets, tightly.
