One thing that should be noted is that this cable is CAT5 "E". There is no mention of the E rating in the description, but a closer look at the photos you will see this printed on the cable. I urge Thomann to add this to the description throughout all the CAT5 cables as it does make a difference, especially with Yamaha Ethersound & RIO stage boxes.
The cable is high quality, the drum is fine, although it is PVC.

Cat5 multi

Very good value Cat5 snake, usally Pro Snake build quality and durability, easily on par with the leading name brands at a far better price.

Coils well on to the supplied drum. Quality cat 5 connectors on the ends. Fairly flexible while been well protected cat5 cable.

If I had to find something negative to say, it would be the lack of stowage for the cat5 connectors when wound up (I usually tape them back to the cable / handle to stop them catching anything), but not really a problem at this price point.

All in all a great value product that does what it should.

Robuste et compact. Cet enrouleur se glisse facilement dans notre fly avec tout les recepteurs HF et le boitier de scène et se déroule et réenroule en un rien de temps. La connectique est robuste et inspire confiance. Je recommande !

when I have received the cable, was far better than expected. In the description they forgot to write that thic cable is made by Belden and that is Cat5e, not just cat5. Neutrik connectors and placed in a very confortable packge. Impressive

10% the weight of our old Analogue Multicore!

We were operating an all analogue system and conventional multicore before moving to an all digital solution. I can't believe how thin the cable is in comparison to our old core. The drum is light and robust made from high density plastic and what's more our old core was 40m and took two people to move and setup whereas this one can be picked up in one had and setup by one person and is 50M!! It also has high quality Ethercon connectors made by Nuetrik on each end as well as a Velcro tie built into it to fasten the cable down when it's coiled up.
Good value and good quality product, would highly recommend!
