Bought PRS Mccarty 594 Wood Library 10 Top Maccarty burst. Came with this strings. Guitar was new but was sitting in the store from 2018 so strings where from 2018. I got free strings with the guitar. D'Addario tens. Strings I often use on my LP style guitars. Old PRS tens sounded better then new strings although they where already tarnished. I mean unwound strings where dark. Strings where not played much but where sounding good despite being darker. Do not get me wrong D'Addarios are great strings and afet some playing in and stretching they got better but this PRS strings where simply nicer. Less metallic sound on the bridge humbacker. More natural sounding. More details and what looked to me, little bit more output. At least it sounded like that. I have never used them on anything else but PRS though but they sound great on PRS and I guess on the LP style guitars. Normally I use other brand for strat style guitars. This will be my choice for the PRS.

Great feel and neutral tone

My PRS CE24 came strung with these strings and I have never had the curiosity of testing any others on it.
They have a neutral tone, excellent tuning stability, slick feel and they last surprisingly long. Bending is also very easy without being spaghetti-like.
