You have a crazy idea for a Lap Steel tuning; go to John Ely's website and find the right string gauges, then head over to Thomann to make up a custom set. It can be a bit pricey, though; maybe Thomann can offer deals for custom sets?

Good value and exactly what i was looking for

I was looking for a thicker string to make drop tunings more usable while still beating able to play in E standard. It works well. Good price, stays in tuning well and as far as i can hear good sound. Strongly recommend
