Bought these because of my weak fingers. Never got used to the string tension of an acoustic guitar in standard tunning.
Pros: They make a huge difference when playing. My fingers don't hurt after playing more than a hour and you don't lose much of the sound and tone.
Cons: They didn't last as much as my other sets but then again how can you even compare them.
You do lose some tone when the string tension drops.
You might get string buzz in the E string.
I am very fond of these when I practice a lot. I can last longer and they feel way softer than your average steel strings

The price is good compared with other brands of silk and steel strings. The strings have a sweet sound on my not-very-expensive guitar. It took about a day for them to acquire their optimum tone and the sweetness decays gradually over time, with a rasping sound starting to appear on the two upper strings. But this is a problem for all unwound strings.

Reasonably priced good sounding strings.

These are good for the price. I think they are similar to the Galli version but a bit cheaper. I used them on a Mahogany folk-style guitar and it was a very sweet sound. Finger picking is nice on these strings as they feel softer than bronze folk strings. Not as loud though- so for strumming a bronze 80/20 would be my preference. The lower tension of the silk and steel strings means a truss rod adjustment may be necessary.

Underated strings

I know these are cheap strings, but I think they sound pretty good on my Recording King 000-guitar. The sound is vintage and a bit thin, but I like it.

Nice product. Saw it by accident and decided to give it a try. Feels ok. Not the best sound you can get, but its way over the average. Ideal for beginners who still have soft tips of fingers.
