Great strings, highly recommended, especially for jazz players. They are slightly pricey compared to conventional strings, but you can expect to pay more for flatwound strings anyway. These proved very nice in my hollowbody guitar, and although I am not a jazz player, I found the clarity of the sound and the lack of the usual noise from the fingers sliding on the strings imminently refreshing. I do not have a lot of experience from flatwound guitar strings, as the only other similar set I have tried in the past was a D'Addario half rounds, but these are even better. Definitely worth a try.

I
Not really flat
Infonetic 14.11.2022
Bought these for one of my guitars as I love flats on pretty much anything. Never had Pyramids before. I genuinely thought that the wrong strings were send, because they feel like round wounds. Same squeaky sounds when you slide. Upon further inspection they do appear to be flatter than round wounds. Personally I like smooth flats better.

Top tones for if you want to get that 60's style sound.

I've used these on my Harley Benton Semi ES Copy and they really change the sound of the guitar making it sound almost priceless.

They've also got a good longevity and have been in used for a good few months without sounding too dull or flat.

Highly recommended.

I use these on the Ibanez Artcore with humbucker pickups. Best thing for me about these strings is how quiet they are. Hardly any fret noise, especially clean sounding in the studio. Smear them with a little Fast Fret and you're good to go. I used medium gauge flat wounds before but they were a little too heavy on my fingers. I just like these strings.
