I bought this as a replacement strings for my Thomann Irish bouzouki, and they do ther job great!
They sound really good, and so far I had no problems with string breaking ( I've been using them for a few months now).
The price is a bit higher than the other strings on Thomann, but considering the quality Its worth spending a few extra Euros.

It’s a good thing there’s two sets in the pack
Stewartt 11.07.2020
Decent sounding stings cant complain there and at the time of purchase they were a decent price my main gripe and the reason I won’t be buying them again is that the loop at the end of the string that attaches to the bridge is quite fragile and broke a number of time when I was installing them. As the title says it’s a good thing there is two sets in the box

Pyramid Irish Bouzouki Strings
Robert814 31.01.2014
O.K. so I've just received a lovely new Irish Bouzouki and wanted some spare strings. I haven't even decided on my preferred tuning yet! Reading the instrument reviews shows that some players prefer octave strings for the G and D (as in this set), while others prefer to double up on wound G and D pairs. I simply ordered 2 sets! Now I have the option either way and if I choose to double up with wound strings, there will be a pair of thinner strings to try in a different position. Wikipedia references show a common tuning as G-D-A-D. This set G-D-A-E, I thought was octave mandolin. They sound good anyway and there is a lot of experimentation and controversy still about tuning!

Nice Bright strings
JoeRenovator 17.06.2013
These are great strings for the Bouzouki. They give a nice bright tone. Very flexible. Love playing the Bouzouki with these strings. Very easy to bend the strings without breaking them. I will buy these again.

Quality Strings

Pyramid strings are of great quality, but personally I like Unison tuning more. Sounds more mystical and medieval.
