It may actually be a game changer for you

I am a guitar player but also a rec. engineer. I have 3 acoustics and a 6-string banjo, so keeping them always record-ready is an issue for my budget.
These strings are amazing for the money, nice intonation and sound, not too bright, not too mellow and without that tin-like random resonances that D'Addario's have.

The alloy is not that typical and the strings also work on electric guitars (better than other string brands), something useful when tracking piano-like el. guitar parts.

Cons...well, the feel is slightly more sticky than some other brands, but I always use string conditioners so that's not a problem for me.

This was the second bunch I bought and there will be more to come.

Tried them, loved them.

Initially I only tried Pyramid strings because, at the price Thomann were asking, I felt that I wouldn’t be losing out by much if I didn’t like them. Now, I buy them every time I shop with Thomann.

The strings are great quality and sound excellent. I’ve never had any issues with tuning stability or breakage and find these strings to last a decent length of time.

I would recommend any musician looking for strings to consider Pyramid. I’ve never been disappointed with these strings and I’ve used them on acoustic, electric and bass.

Personally I prefer Martins

I bought these strings for my Columbus (cheap Gibson Humingbird clone).
When I first put them on my guitar, they did sound very bright and loud for the heavy gauge.

However, that bright "sparkle" you get with new strings didn't last for too long for me.
Some players aren't a fan of that brighter sound on heavier strings, but I do like it so I was a little disappointed that they didn't sound new for very long (maybe a week to 10 days).

They are durable and tough though! Despite some bashing from my fathers heavier bluesy style of playing and the bashing's of en enthusiastic toddler, not one string snapped in the year I had them on for. (Yes, I know, I shouldn't leave strings on for a whole year, that's just lazy. :( .)

Best strings I've ever had
Stefan VH 24.07.2020
I've been playing guitar intermittently for 30 years and th elast few years intensively.
I started looking closely at the different types of guitar strings sinc eI have a highly sensitive nervous sytem. This makes me a detective of details.
I've tried most types of strings (nickel, bronze, gold, nylon) and most brands (Fender, D'Addario, Ernie Ball, Optima,...).
These still sound great after 10 days, most don't even last a week, have a rich and deep tone, play soft and nice and feel good on the fingers.
I've found "MY" strings. Hope this helps you in your own quest.
