Amazing and Small
ChrisHoness 18.10.2021
Love this, bought as my main amp after trying Orange micros, a bugera small tube and some other stuff as I was after a good pedal platform.
I’ve paired this with a HB V30 1x12 and it’s great, lovely fender cleans on the 67 mode and a nice tweedy crunch on the 50s mode.
I am unbelievably happy and now plan to get the UK version and another cab and then maybe swap my current V30 to a G12 Creamback for a perfect wet amp.
Honestly the guys at Quilter are geniuses

Quilter Nailed It! ...Again!
A d a m 08.11.2022
I allready have the Quilter 101 Reverb and sold all my tube amps because of it. When Quilter came out with the Superblock US, I ordered it immediately. It's quite an upgrade soundwise! First it gives you 3 very distinct voices that are pretty accurate on the era they represent, changing mostly the mid-range response. All 3 sounds really good! And the cab simulator is very handy and sounds great. I allready had a bunch of gigs with a PA system, where I had just my pedalboard with the Quilter and my guitar.

Let me break down the pros and cons that I have encounter gigging with this amp.
PROS:
-Very small and lightweight
-FX Loop
-Very loud 25W (volume wise same or maybe even more headroom than my now sold Deluxe Reverb)
-The line out (XLR) with the cab sim sounds great
-A great sounding reverb

CONS:
-The main power supply (PS-24) is a separate unit (that's why I gave 3 stars for handling)
-Compared to the Quilter 101 Reverb it feels a bit fragile (that's the 4 stars for quality)

I shuld also mention that I'm using it with a Jensen Jet Series Tornado 10" 8Ohm in a custom mahogany cabinet.

C'mon, it's a steal
Steebz 18.02.2022
After years of having owned and used them classic tube amps (handwired Voxes and Fenders mostly) I've become a bit of a transistor amp convert recently, and this one seems to take the cake. Tiny footprint, portable, incredibly versatile with all the outs and the power options, grrreat sound, perfect for your bedroom and loud enough for gigs, well-built, takes pedals like a champ... and not much more expensive than your standard AC30 retube. I mean, even if you just pick one up as a backpack backup for your trusty tube amp... it just makes total sense. Well done Quilter!

Three Fender amps in pocket size.
Samuraich 16.06.2022
This solid state thing sounds like a dream in all three positions, suits my guitar case pocket and easily pushes 1x12 cab to the small gig volume. I want to try it on some gig cause it seems to be a great option for small scenes and to come with only Quilter some pedals looks pretty convenient. It has some decent digital reverb, but I use the spring one. I love 65 most, but 61 and 57 are enjoyable as well, dynamics are very tube like and you also may have some nice and natural breakup even on moderate volumes. 420 euro for a Quilter plus cab seems to be ridiculously good price.

VV
The perfect pedalboard amp
Vinicius Valente 19.01.2024
The practicality of having a powerful and amazing fender tone at the price, size and weight of a pedal is unbeatable!

I got this amp + a Harley Benton Vintage 30 cab to replace a Marshall Classic 20c, and it doesn't loose anything in sound quality. Plus the Superblock US have a much better headphone out with cab simulation.

Using the 9v option I could get awesome tones and dynamics even at low volumes (the marshall amp could not provide me that at such low volumes even using the low power settings), since I live in a apartment this was the biggest selling point to me.

I will definitely get the UK version also. I believe the combination will result in an amazing analog pedalboard setup, with huge versatility and modern features without the valve amplifiers drawbacks of the price, size, weight and lack of decent tone in low volumes.

TOP QUALITY

Essential kit for every guitar player. I’m a big fan of Quilter and already own the Aviator Gold and US Cub combos. For more than 30 years, I was a dedicated “tube snob” , and wouldn’t think of entertaining anything that wasn’t valved and hand wired. Quilter was a revelation. There is no other company that can replicate Fender type tones as well as these guys.
This little fella really nails it. Go to youtube and see all the clips. Heavenly tone, low cost, no maintenance, total reliability, highly flexible and as light as a feather. If you use a standard adapter, this unit knocks out just One watt….though even that is very useable. If you use the supplied Quilter power supply, it churns out a very loud 25watts that is easily enough to dominate any drummer. Compares very well to a Fender Deluxe Reverb.
Win, win win .

Not a tube combo but good enough
longus 14.04.2023
I bought this for practice and direct recording of jazz. I compared it to my Deluxe Reverb and of course it is not a perfect substitution but it is good enough, so good in fact that it can be played live without significant loss of tone. The overdrive stage is not what I would use, but I have pedals for that, and it's not bad. I use it with Jensen, Greenback and Black Shadow cabinets and each gives it a different tone quality. For recording it is again not as good as a tube combo but for clean jazz will do. Dialing the right tone is much easier than on Boss GX100. The factory power supply is a bit loud but with a 9V source it becomes more managable if you have fussy neighbours. BTW, Thomann's customer service is first class.

Great if all you need is clean
HelloMyNameIs 18.05.2024
This little box has a really great clean sound. If this is all you are looking for, you can stop reading here. However, any over-driven is where it really fails short to me. With the limiter off and the gain set anything past 12 o'clock, it produces a nasty fuzz zing that I really can't bear. It takes pedals well and you can achieve a nice overdrive sound with a pedal, but when you push it too hot with that pedal, that zing comes back.
I've tried the Superblock with headphones, its XLR output, and with a guitar cabinet, I've tried even two different Superblocks, it all sounds the same to me. Great cleans, but unbearable overdrive tones, at least to me.
The overdrive tone is something I was particularly looking for, as the Superblock is advertised as full simulation of a tube amp at any volume. However, for me, it fails to deliver on that. I have decided to go for the Simplifier MKII, even though it means losing amp functionality, it does not have the above mentioned problem.

Den eneste toppen du trenger!
bonsaibeard 18.04.2023
Fantastisk forsterker!

P
Pedal steel guitar / Superblock US
Ptarmigan 25.06.2024
Tried it for home practice with earphones only. Given the high output of a steel guitar, there simply is not enough headroom. Maybe ten percent of gain level usable before it starts distorting. Apart from this, it seems really well built and has a lot going for it.
