These connectors solve the issue of large wire diameters, but not without some problems. The live end is not a fully tight fit with the actual soldering lug i.e. you can rotate it and the electrical connection could be unreliable. Introduces resistance and a risk factor to your speaker cable. The similar looking Yongsheng connectors have more robust innards and are superior to this.

Good but the cable protector bit is a bit too large (I was using Van damme speaker cable).

Easy to work with.

Next time I think I might just use the 'normal' neutrik connector instead
