Will sharpen your snare sound.

This head is ideally used for 10" snare drums and not your toms.

The emperor X will actually sharpen the sound of the drum and not phatten it up, so if you want the snare to cut, this is the head to use, but go for the powerstroke 4 or powerstroke 77 if you want to remove the overtones of the drum.

Quality head and will last you forever, but defiantly adds high end.
