Deep sounding drum / high quality.

Had this now for about a week. Impressions: deep sounding, almost like a buffalo drum/shamanic drum. Skin/head texture is very like natural skin to the touch. NB: if you buy this drum you can see on the underside the mylar ring fitted to give enhanced bass tones, certainly this drum sounds deeper for just a 12 inch size tambourine. Through an AKG condenser mic into an amplifier the sound is very good. Overall quality is as you would expect from Remo - top class; up there with the Layne Redmond Riq also made by Remo. Only slight catch I want to mention is that - as far as I know you cant get a matching sized bag by Remo from Thomann (or Remo?) Overall a very good buy.
