Remo 22" Powerstroke 3 Clear Dot

I use this head on a Tama Starclassic Performer Birch/Bubinga 22x18 bass drum. I love it. Lots of attack and a nice sound.

Previously using normal CS Black Dot batter head with similar front head and no dampening, at all. Hard hitter, this gave a powerful acoustic sound out front but very boomy, slamming sound from behind.
These give just the right amount of dampening/control without loss of power and a very direct middle punch that was lacking.
You can aford to tension slightly higher also, giving a great playing response.
I'm delighted.

Really great bassdrum head if you want a short thumping bass sound and lots of attack. Especially when you put a falam slam on top of the black dot.
You also won't have to change it that often, it can really take a beating.

Dit basdrumvel is de ideale combinatie tussen een Powerstroke 3 en vele met Dot. Door de Dot is het speelvlak extra sterk en geeft het meer attack. Ik gebruik deze in combinatie met een traditionele felt beater en dit geeft een vol Rock geluid. Denk niet dan je dit vel snel zal kapot spelen. De basdrum heeft ook maar een klein beetje extra muffling nodig
