Remo Encore 12" Ambassador Hazy

I use this ring on a 15 inch floor Tom which is part of a Yamaha 9000 Recording kit .
I find that it gives both myself and, the sound technician, a pleasing , controlled tone and signal to work with. In some instances a moongel pad may also be added if further ‘damping’ is required.
This particular model is two inches wide and, some drummers may prefer the options of ‘one and a half’ or one inch….as the situation dictates.
As I primarily use Evans EC2S and G2 clear Tom batter heads ( 2ply ) there are situations where the drums are played ‘wide open’ with no damping.
