Excellent for keeping your pedalboard's I/O organized
Jussi K. 28.01.2023
Great for keeping things tidy and organized if you use 4-cable method and require midi-connectivity. I have the Rockboard Quad 4.2 B and this fits right in. I also managed to fit the Truetone 1 Spot Pro CS12 pedal power under the board after some tetris.
A word of warning: Rockboard's angled "flat" midi cables are not a good fit for this patchbay! They are oriented so that the cable will block other inputs. I bought those first but had to change to straight midi cables instead.

Works as it should
MetalJonesy 30.03.2020
Very tidy little device to clear up the clutter on your Rockboard. I recently bought a RockBoard after many years using my own custom made board. I wanted to streamline my effects and moved to an HX stomp in replacement of my drives, delay, reverb, eq, phaser and compressor.
I have been using a 4 cable method for years in the analog domain with a Joyo PXL Pro switcher so already built my own patch box to get rid of cables going everywhere. I could have carried on using it, but the added feature of the IEC through means I can now mount both PSU's and MXR brick under the board with use of an IEC split out Y cable and some IEC to plug socket. It also integrates seamlessly and just makes the whole set up look really professional!

Awesome patchbay

It simplified my pedalboard connections. Looks professional and way better than other patchabays I've looked into.

Nice concept...
Woiperdinger music 27.08.2020
Nice concept, but seems like some corners were cut.
On the unit I received, there are a few problems.
1) The TRS jacks are intermittent and I don't think I can trust them in a live situation.
2) the power socket and the midi ports feel very cheap (wiggly/loose) and I doubt they will take more than 50 plug/unplugs
3) DC jack is VERY intermittent, basically un-useable. The slightest touch to the DC cable will cut and reconnect power rapidly
4) There is noticeable "tone suck" from this patchbay.
I really wish I had just built my own patch bay out of higher quality components. I guess I probably will considering the effect the MOD2 has on the sound.
It takes a lot for me to give a negative review... It is too bad, because it looks great and definitely makes stage/rehearsal set up faster.

Game changer
Palladio 26.05.2021
Using this together with my rockboard QUAD 4.2 is absolutely brilliant. It keeps hooking up everything very tidy. How you use it depends on your creativity: I use a TS in for the guitar lead, a TRS in for a backing track, 2x TS out for stereo out L&R, and MIDI out for a clock signal.

Simply perfect
kubass666 07.01.2023
A must for complex pedal boards. Except USB and MIDI IN I am using all sockets.
I am using Klotz, Sommers cables and Boss BIC patch cables and I didn't noticed any sound degradation or fizz when patchbay is used.
Only drawback is construction. I don't like the idea using screws directly into the aluminium but so far it holds tight.
