I bought these together with the RodeLink Filmmaker kit and they are a nifty little addition to the set-up. They make it really easy to set up lavalier microphones and to hide them. They come with two-sided tape stickers which are safe to attach on skin and clothes and leave no residue. The Invisilav clips are made of soft plastic and they house two microphones. They also do a great job in reducing the handling noise as the clip houses the lavalier microphone capsule deep into the socket, which means that the microphone never comes into contact with clothes or skin, this means no rustling noises from movements and etc. The invisilav also has small attachments on sides which are good for fastening the cables. The only negative side is that one runs out of the adhesive stickers in time but they can be attached with some medical tape by tapeing over the clip. After using these little clips one does not want to use nothing else in attaching lavaliers. Also this seems more professional on film sets than any other solution with gaffer tape or other methods of tapeing lavaliers onto clothes, skin, etc. I would recommend these clips for everyone using rode lavalier microphones.

Does it's job well
Anonymous 06.03.2017
Nothing much to say really. The product does it's job of hiding the lav mic pretty well. The only thing I didn't like about it is the stickers come all on top of each other and sometimes hard to separate that's why I am taking one ftar for handling. I've used the Invisilav accessories on a good number of shoots and can't complain. No unwanted noises from the mic touching clothes or anything like that. Hides the microphone really well and you can't even tell that there is a mic in the scene which is what it's supposed to do so 5 stars about that. In terms of price vs quality it's awesome and I totally recommend it if you need something proper to hide your mic lavs under or around clothes.

Not what I thought

Bought it to protect the capsule of the lav mic when miking the talent. Turns out that this "protection" only adds more noise when in contact with the skin or clothes of the talent, because of its fabric.
Better to have Rycote Undercovers and use it directly on the Rode microphone.
