I have replaced the RT10s I have used on my hybrid kit for 8 years with a full set of RT30s and I have to say the difference is amazing.
The sensitivity is incredible in combination with the Roland Powerply mesh heads, and the changed design locks them solidly on the hoop with the head contact optimised.
The metal look (and feel) casing is much nicer, and the reduced profile makes them look much neater on the kit.
Roland's reputation for providing the best quality if you have the budget is very evident here.

Roland RT 30 H

I got three Roland RT 30 H Tom triggers for my Yamaha 9000 kit so I could keep all the cables taped to my rack then when I go to bigger gigs set them up and plug into my Roland TD 6 V module, it took a bit of work to get them to trigger the way I wanted with a bit of retuning the toms and some tape, then I worked on the sensitivity while playing softley with the module plugged into my bands 10 k rig, the sound is amazing, no more mick cables taking up room on the desk or stands to carry and set up, I also use the Roland TM 2 module for my kick and snare so only two cables to the desk and no more fed back or horrible low sound on stage.

No hassle

This thing is super easy to setup, you don't even need a drum key like some of the other triggers out there in the market. Literally just plug and play.
Just make sure you properly treat your acoustic kit heads before using this.

It has become an industrial standard already. Have nothing bad to say about it. Highly recommended!
