This is an excellent upgrade compared to the previous Black Hole for Bass drums. The new V2 design allows the pad to sit inside the bass drum hoop which means my EAD10 microphone also fits in its usual place on the top of the hoop.

It feels great, significantly reduces volume and seems highly durable.
