Rycote Baby Ball Gag Wind Screen

Bought to supplement a foam windshield on my Sony Recorder. It's quite large. It works very well, not as well as a blimp, but it's much more convenient.

Quality is good. It's a little pricey but works well

It's hideously overpriced, and should be included with the BBG in my opinion, so I'm giving it a very low score because of that.

But that aside, it works well in combination with the BBG for protecting against a fair bit of wind.
It's easy enough to overpower them where I live on the coast, but that is to be expected.

Tip for use: Turn it inside out when packing it in your bag, and it will last longer, also it should help avoiding synthetic fur everywhere in your bag.

Used it in heavy wind with Audio Technica 4025 stereo microphone, sound was super clear and wind noise problems were non-existant or minimal with strong bursts. Highly recommended :)

Very effective wind protection and solid sewage

Wind noise absorbtion is good but the individual hairs easily come off from base cloth. Everytime i use and put it in my bag I see remains of artificial fur everywhere.

I bought this for use it with AT BP4025 stereo mic & Rycote Baby Ball. Good quality and very useful outdoors when the wind atmosphere is energized!

When used with Baby Ball Gag, works effectively with low to medium wind. High winds though you would need something more protective..
