I thought that they were good for outdoor use but these windscreens do not protect the recording even with the slightest breeze. Ideal for indoor use though, where they can replace a standard foam. They provide good physical protection to the mic, and best of all, they do not reduce the high frequencies.

I'm mostly using this indoors on set and location if there's any cross breeze. It's easy to pop it on and off. I've used it outdoors in a light wind for field recording and it worked fine.

This is perfect for indoor use. Possible use for outdoor with slow wind. Also can protect the mic from possible damage.
