Wow, what a chunky little beast ! Looks like (and could be) the middle of a ride cymbal. It has that slight discord between the flange and the bell which makes it uniquely different from a "Bell" cymbal. Two distinct sounds are available flange/bell and no worries about hitting it hard with a big stick !
