They are several mm too big so when attched to tge pins, tgey dont fit well, creating noises, rattlling clicking etc. I would not reccommend for acoustic guitar. Yes they do lock and are secure. One of mine started to become very difficult to unlock. Took them off. Not worth the weight. I suggest anotyer manufacture
