The number of pages alone makes this good value for money, but overall, I am disappointed. I use manuscript paper to write out my basslines, using pencil or ballpoint pen, and I highlight chord changes, position shifts, tricky passages etc using a red "gel-like" pen. Usually I don't have to rewrite my notes, or copy them in Musescore to print them out, however I think I'll be doing more of that in the future :-\
I'm used to 12 staves per page, but these are much narrower, with a large gap between them (this may be preferred by some people). The marks made on the page are visible from the back, and the only situation I can imagine using both sides would be if taking notes in a music lecture with a view to writing them up before discarding the original. Indeed, I think I will be using this pad solely for "rough" notes, and save my Portland manuscript Book for the smart stuff.
