Purchased for vocals and snare miking, I have found it much more useful for snare miking.
Over or under-snare works great and having the switch to alter the settings from 'Speech' to 'Music' with several grades in between, as well as hi boost switch allows plenty of tweaking possibilities.
In terms of vocals it looks great, bringing images of Bowie and Stevie Nicks (and now Hozier is using one live too), however it has been tricky for live performance in my experience. It needs a lot of gain on the mixer, and has always felt a little dull/ less responsive than a trusty SM58 or even a Sennheiser MD421. If someone is looking for something interesting for concert vocals I would rather reccomend that, it's cheaper and a bit more friendly to the performer (in my opinion).
I wouldn't sell it but it is not as versatile as I originally expected. Great to have when variation in a drum miking is needed.
