Le micro canon par excellence !
Antoine LGS 27.07.2021

A Good Shotgun Mic for the Price
alexpsill23 28.05.2020
Needed a budget microphone for filmmaking (90% dialogue), and this turned out great.

Overall a good, robust microphone, better than most in the same price range. Noise cancelling is on par wih high end mics, and the option to power it via a AA battery comes in handy.

The mids are a bit more pronounced, and it lacks some depth, but that's natural for mic that focuses on ENG, where often one deals with unpredictable circumstances, and capturing a clear dialogue track is top priority.

S
The best mic for the price range
SteelLight 10.12.2022
Good sounding mic for the price. Low noise is 15db which is fair. I suggest you to use it with phantom power since it is getting noisier with batteries and the quiet recordings will be with too much hiss.

The build quality is solid.

I'm rating it 4/5 because MKH416 is still my favourite shotgun mic and MKE600 is his small brother!

Great for amateur filmmaking
Tuader 20.10.2024
This is what you get when you want a cheap alternative to something like the legendary MKH416. It's the best option you have when it comes to all-rounder shotgun.

very nice but a bit hum
Anonymous 19.11.2014
I experience a bit of a hum when using this microphone. However I'm not sure whether it is a setting somewhere...
I use is connected to the Zoom H4n, iPhone or Canon 60D.
