Great features, but build quality could be better
KleSaj 10.03.2023
I bought the PS200 to power my Fractal FM9 unit and send the signal into my Mesa Mini Rectifier Slant 1x12 cab.

The PS200 does everything you need it to do, and it even has it's own EQ that you can tweak to adjust the sound quickly. I also love the fact that the EQ knobs have a tiny physical barrier at noon position, so you don't even need to look at them when returning them to that position - you feel the knobs lock into the position, so you don't have to wonder whether or not it's perfectly aligned.

It also has headphones output and cab sim options, but since I don't use those, I can't really comment on those.

For the kind of money, however, I'd expect better build quality. Some of the issues I have are purely visual (so they have no impact on the sound), but one of them is the constantly spinning fan.

Visual issues:
- The sides of the lower part of the unit are not completely straight, so where they join with the upper part of the unit, the edges are not aligned perfectly.
- The knob for Bass control has been tightened to the potentiometer under an angle, so when the knob locks into the "noon" position, the line points towards 1 o'clock instead of 12 o'clock.

The fan is something I feel Seymour Duncan could improve upon. It's constantly running and for quiet playing, it can get a bit annoying, as you can hear it spin (at least if you're sitting close to the unit). At low volumes one would think that the fan wouldn't even have to be running. Fortunately, normal bedroom volumes or band practices are way louder so unless you're playing super quietly, you won't hear the fan spinning.

TL;DR: A great unit to power your modeller with a bunch of great features. At the current price point the build quality could have been better.

Świetny kieszonkowy power amp
Romhey 24.07.2022
Kupiłem go aby używac Jako końcówkę mocy do Quad Cortex.

good looking power amp, highly portable, simple and efficient piece of gear!
Sound is as expected, very clean. Great fit with a fractal+guitar cab.

(As usual, perfect service from Thomann and swift delivery, 3working days for a delivery in Singapore! Thanks Thomann!)

Sounds great but if you are buying the 200 for the aux in be aware
SKUL 09.09.2023
I went for the 200 instead of the 170 because of the aux in feature.
The aux in only goes to the the headphone output…
So if you were looking to put an playback machine for a gig it will not work.

Sounds great with the quad cortex. Its built like a tank.
