Gives a bith more omph and thightness to the telecaster. Only "bad" thing is the rubber for pickup height, since they are cut too short.

Definitely worth the upgrade

I bought these Seymour Duncan pickups to swap in my Fender Telecaster, and so far I'm extremely happy with them. They give a little bit more power to my sound and a great add to my overall music direction.
I am in the process of replacing the original Fender "noiseless" pick ups of my Am Deluxe Tele, because I find them dull (and noisy).
I have great expectations from these SD pickups, but the rubber mounts are only 6 mm long compared to the 15 mm of the original ones. Also considering that the pick up height is smaller, if I used the SD mounts, the pick up will protrude 4 mm more above the bridge plate. Clearly no good.
I am getting some longer rubber mounts from another web shop, as Thomann does not seem to carry these as spares.
Needless to say this is annoying.
The SD pick up should be a drop in replacement to a regular Tele: why are the provided rubber mounts so short?
I may update this review after completion of replacement to comment on sound etc
